CREATE FOR LIFE: HEALING CREATIVITY

A creative mind, and its capacity to overcome the many every-day challenges arising in the world today, could be the best and most decisive instrument for each of us. 

This could be even more so for those, like the children of Crete For Life, that come from disadvantaged or traumatic familiar and social conditions, because it might become a help to break the vicious circle of hopelessness by stimulating them to find solutions with their own wits. Also thanks to the development of creativity, they might be able to choose positive solutions versus handicaps and limitations.

Paradoxically, a trauma at an early age can stimulate creativity through the experience of introspection and indirect expressions, like the artistic language that might become a challenge to relive past negative emotions.

In the project of support to the children, Crete For Life believes  it is important to offer them stimulating activities that will help to develop the individual creativity.

All paths can be useful for this purpose. For example through workshops run by artists and creative individuals, trough games and plays where new possibilities and passions are experimented. We would like to stimulate the children to be more and more individual, curious, independent and full of fantasy; to accept risks, problems and new things. Working and playing together we would like to develop a strong sense of participation and sharing, probably an important part of their future lives.

To develop and consolidate this project we need many contributions. Things to play with, teachers for workshops, financial help to run our organization. If you would like to join us, with your help many more children and young adults can be helped to rediscover their self confidence, becoming adults with increased personal capacities and thus with a richer life ahead of them.

CREATE FOR LIFE: LA CREATIVITA’ CHE GUARISCE.

Una mente creativa, con la sua capacità di risolvere le tante sfide  di un mondo sempre più complesso, può essere l’arma e lo strumento decisivo per ciascuno di noi. Questa marcia in più è indispensabile soprattutto per chi, come i nostri bambini di Crete For Life, è nato in situazioni famigliari e ambientali svantaggiate, spesso traumatiche, perché li aiuterà a uscire dal circolo vizioso della rassegnazione spingendoli a cercare soluzioni con il proprio ingegno. Grazie anche allo sviluppo della creatività potranno orientare la mente verso possibilità positive, non solo verso handicap e limiti.

Paradossalmente un trauma infantile può favorire lo sviluppo della creatività, sviluppando maggiormente l’introspezione che si affida a modalità espressive più indirette, Come il linguaggio artistico, che diventa un canale per rielaborare antiche emozioni negative. Per Crete For Life è fondamentale, nel proprio progetto di supporto, inserire i bambini in situazioni e attività stimolanti che aiutino sviluppare la creatività individuale. Tutti i percorsi sono utili allo scopo. Pensiamo a  laboratori con creativi e artisti dove, attraverso la dimensione del gioco, si elaborano nuove possibilità ed entusiasmi. Vogliamo stimolare i ragazzi ad essere, originali, curiosi, a sviluppare la fantasia. Ad accettare i rischi, le complessità e le novità. Lavorando e giocando insieme svilupperemo il senso di partecipazione e di condivisione, così importante per proiettarsi positivamente nel futuro.

Per mettere le ali a questo progetto, abbiamo bisogno di tanti contributi. Strumenti per giocare,  insegnanti per i laboratori, aiuti economici per l’organizzazione. Se anche voi vorrete darci una mano, potremo aiutare molti più bambini e ragazzi a riconquistare fiducia in se stessi, a diventare adulti con migliori capacità personali, dunque con una vita più ricca di possibilità.
