CREATE FOR LIFE ACTIVITIES, SUMMER 2007-09-16

During the therapeutic holiday 2007, here are some of the activities organized for the children of Crete For Life

• Yoga
• Theatre school
• Arts and Crafts
• Costume and Set design
• Papermaking workshop

Around Crete'smost famous myth, that of the labyrinth of Cnossos and Arianna's thread, everything around a theatre show will be organized, from scenes, costumes, rythms and musical instruments

The children of Crete For Life/Create For Life, will work together at a complex project, where each of them will have to bring in creativity, enthusiams and cooperation. They will thus feel the satisfaction of being part of an original work that will then be recorded in video and replicated for all the friends of Crete For Life/Create For Life. The activities of Creata For Life want to be open also to the children in Crete and whoever will want to develop new friendships and the art of cherishing people that come from far away.

For the scenography, Alessandra Bruno will guide the study of preparatory sketches done on hand-made paper, studies in watercolous of the Cretan Landscape, analisys and reproduction of the chromatic differences of nature's lights and forms trough the changes of the weather and the passing of time.

Attorno al mito del labirinto di Crosso, lungo il filo di Arianna, verranno realizzate scene, costumi, ritmi e strumenti musicali per la realizzazione di uno spettacolo teatrale.

I ragazzi di Create For Life lavoreranno insieme ad un progetto complesso, dove ognuno dovrà apportare creatività, entusiasmo e cooperazione. Avranno cosi la sensazione appagante di collaborare alla realizzazione di una opera prima, che verrà poi ripresa in video e replicata per tutti gli amici di Crete/Create For Life.

 Le attività di Create For Life vogliono essere aperte anche ai bambini di Creta e a chi vorrà, per sviluppare amicizie e l’arte di confrontarsi con qualcuno che viene da “fuori”.

Per la progettazione scenografica, Alessandra Bruno guiderà lo studio dei bozzetti da realizzare su carta fatta a mano, studi ad acquarello del paesaggio cretese, analisi e riproduzione cromatiche degli elementi e dei cambiamenti che ne compongono la struttura attraverso il passaggio del tempo e le variazioni atmosferiche.
